In America, 1 in every 4 kids is bullied. 30% of students in the U.S. are involved in little or frequent bullying in grades six through ten- as bullies, victims, or both. There are many other statistics to show how bad, horrific, and common bullying is in America. Such as; in playgrounds, every 7 minutes a child is bullied. Bullying is a terrible thing, and it's everywhere.
As a kid going through the American school system and a teenage kid living in America, I see bullying everyday all around me. I hear it walking down the street and I hear it when I'm in school. There is no end to bullying. Also, it's not even like there's tons more people who are bullied than there are bullies. 1 out of every 5 kids admits to being a bully, or involved in some bullying.
The thing that gives bullies a lot of their power is the fact that they think they can get away with it. This is why you should speak up and say something when you see someone being bullied and not just walk by and pretend you don't see anything
